The Black Canyon Adventure Tour begins with a quick
stop at Expedition Depot in the heart of Boulder City.
You are then transported to Hoover Dam where you will
begin with a relaxing 11 mile float trip. Your guide
will escort you down the Colorado River and into the
Black Canyon where you are likely to encounter Big Horn
Sheep grazing along the shoreline, ancient Indian petroglyphs
along the canyon walls and bumbling natural hot springs.
You will enjoy the outdoor beauty of the canyon while
you dine on your prepared lunch as the tour stops on
the beach. Your friendly and informative guide will
explain the history of the area and the ancient ways
the river was navigated by early explorers as they arrived
from Mexico looking for gold and other treasures. There
are many photo opportunities along this tour, so be
sure to bring your camera.
From here you will return to Expedition Depot where
you will be picked up in a special equipped 'Hummer',
Deep Desert Exploration Vehicle (D.D.E.V) that will
take you into places no other vehicle can access. This
will be the ride of your life as the Hummer powers through
the rugged Frenchmen Mountains arriving at the major
fault line Lizard Eye Ridge. Next, you are delivered
back to your hotel room safe and sound, with memories
of a lifetime.

Departure Time:
Passengers will be picked-up from their hotel between
7:00am and 8:00am, depending on the hotel location.
Exact pick-up time will be provided at time of booking.

Complimentary pick-up service available from all Las
Vegas hotels. Please advise pick-up hotel at time of
booking and call upon arrival in Las Vegas to reconfirm
pick-up time.
Return Details:
Tour concludes upon return to your hotel

It is recommended you bring the following:
- Change of Clothes - You may get wet! Wear shoes
that can get wet
- Hat - Keep your head covered up from the sun.
- Sunglasses - Shields for your eyes is important
for UV protection. The desert sun can be very strong.
- Sunscreen / Chapstick - SPF 15 or better for the
desert sun is very strong.
